Ionic Wind AG is an Empa spin-off developing the world’s first commercial solid-state airflow generators – a disruptive alternative to fans for laptops, edge AI systems and high-precision instruments. Our modules generate airflow by exploiting principles from plasma physics, having no noise, no vibration As our product gets closer to market, we are offering a 6 months internship to develop, integrate and test the MCU of our airflow units. Your responsibilities -Define the embedded system architecture, including sensor interfaces, control signals, communication protocols, and safety functions. -Evaluate, select, and prototype the most suitable MCU platform, and integrate it with our current power supplies and test infrastructure. -Develop dynamic closed-loop control for high-voltage and current setpoints, including arcing detection, dust mitigation, safety interlocks, and environmental monitoring. -Implement robust communication protocols between the embedded system, power electronics, sensors, and external control software. -Document technical findings and provide actionable recommendations for system integration, scalability, and future product development. PolyPilot is building the Engineering OS for regulated industries, starting with Swiss MedTech. Regulated engineering teams spend too much time maintaining technical documentation, traceability matrices, evidence links, change-impact analyses, and compliance reports across fragmented tools such as QMS, PLM, ALM, CAD, SharePoint, and Excel. PolyPilot uses AI agents, knowledge graphs, source-grounded retrieval, human-in-the-loop validation, and audit-grade provenance to help engineering and RA/QA teams automate non-value-added compliance work while keeping outputs traceable, reviewable, and defensible. I am looking for a technical CTO / co-founder who can own the architecture and technical execution of PolyPilot. The ideal profile has strong experience or deep interest in: - AI agent deployment and orchestration - LLM systems and production-grade Hybrid RAG - AgentOps, observability, evaluation, and reliability - Knowledge graphs for traceability and structured engineering context - Cloud architecture and scalable backend systems - Security, access control, auditability, and reproducible workflows - LLM evaluation, feedback loops, preference learning, RLHF, or fine-tuning strategy - Product-minded engineering and fast iteration with users You do not need to be a systems engineering or MedTech expert from day one. What matters most is technical depth, founder mindset, curiosity for regulated industries, and the ability to learn a complex domain fast. In the first phase, you would help shape and build the technical foundation of PolyPilot: - Define the scalable architecture of the platform - Harden the first AI agent workflows - Design the knowledge graph and traceability layer - Build evaluation and AgentOps foundations - Support cloud deployment and security choices - Turn the current prototype direction into a reliable product - Work with early design partners and translate feedback into technical priorities - Help build the long-term technical moat of PolyPilot with RLHF This is a co-founder opportunity, not a traditional employee role at this stage. AI Engineer – Agentic Systems

Arcton is a Zürich based AI native agency building autonomous outbound systems for B2B companies. Our core product is an AI sales agent that clients brief like an employee, no dashboards, no manual setup, and it runs prospecting, sequencing, and qualification end to end. We're looking for someone who actually understands how agentic systems work in production, not just how to call an LLM API. You'll work directly on the architecture behind our AI agent: tool calling and function routing logic, multi step task planning, memory and state handling across long running workflows, and orchestration between multiple specialized agents (one handling lead research, another handling message drafting, another handling deliverability checks, for example). Concretely you'll need to be comfortable with designing and debugging agent loops (not just prompting a single turn chatbot), structuring tool and function schemas so an LLM can reliably call external systems like CRMs, email infra such as QuickMail or GetSales.io, and enrichment APIs like Apollo or Prospeo, handling failure modes in agentic pipelines such as hallucinated tool calls, infinite loops, or bad state transitions, and basic RAG or retrieval setups for grounding agent outputs in real client data. Python is required. Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Claude or OpenAI function calling, or building anything agentic from scratch (even a side project) is a strong plus. This isn't a prompt engineering role. You'll be shipping things that run live for paying clients, so you need to think in terms of reliability, observability, and what happens when the agent gets it wrong.
